Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a scientific and holistic healing art, as part of the right to health.

Chiropractic regards the pathogenesis, diagnosis, care, treatment and prophylaxis of functional disorders, it is responsible, also, of pain syndromes and neurophysiological effects related to static and dynamic disorder of the neuro-musculo-skeletal system.

It focuses on treating the causes of physical problems rather than treat symptoms. Chiropractic is based on a simple assumption: the body's structural problems, particularly problems involving the spinal column can cause malfunctions to the functionality of the body, especially the nervous system.

Chiropractic deals with complaints against the spine, nervous system, muscles, tendons and joints, or injury incurred as a result of incorrect loads in short or long duration, which often result from a restriction on movement and were painful , all of these disorders can be cured or, at least, relieved by a chiropractor.
Chiropractic has helped to recognize the improper spinal function an important morbid.

In addition to the spine, chiropractic can help solve some diseases of the extremities and relieve painful symptoms of organs, somatovisceral source (a "block" in the back, for example, in some circumstances may cause changes in bowel movements).

The main difference that distinguishes chiropractic from other health professions is represented by the adjustment.
The adjustment is applied to a specific movement joint in order to restore the correct movement and proper function and thereby bypass the irritation on the nerve.
Once restored the correct status of the column body is capable of healing themselves.

These chiropractic adjustments, performed by qualified chiropractors, are safe, very effective and are particularly useful in case of acute back pain or neck, which often also involve muscle spasms and, after adjustment, the patient recovers immediately a part of the mobility and finds a significant reduction of pain.
The chiropractic adjustment, taking into account this factor, may be effective in many other situations in addition to the classic neck pain or back pain.

In many cases of neck pain, for example, are often involved nerves resulting in pain, numbness and weakness of the shoulders, arms and hands. By adjusting the associated vertebrae in the neck, upper limbs of these problems can often be minimized or resolved.

This is also true in the case where the cause of many headaches often lies in a real irritation of the nerves and muscles of the neck.

Scientific research has confirmed the effectiveness of chiropractic treatment in diseases such as asthma, gastritis, constipation, otitis media, tonsillitis, hypertension, pelvic \ dysmenorrhea and many others.
